Facebook’s Evil Photo Upload Changes

Users all over the internet are crying out…

At one time, groups were used for more than just a place to chat. Communities were formed… When humans are allowed to their own devices, sub cultures within the mix begin to form, and communities grow. That’s exactly what happened with images on Facebook.

Beyond the Swap Mom Community, there are other communities that are hugely effected by the new policy for Facebook’s photo uploading policies.

How did photos used to work 4 months ago on Facebook….

There was a time when you could:

  • Upload more than 5 photos to a Facebook Group
  • Upload photos from your album to a group (all comments could be seen from one place. One copy of each image existed)
  • See all image comments on one place
  • Be able to see images on the web page without a separate Java window with black background popping up

Facebook’s tyrany  and dictatorship leadership style – never listening to it’s users has allowed them to only get so far. For a long time the community relied on an incredible amount of open features the users could use however they pleased. These were so open that there were constant complaints over security. Things have gotten so tight that security is now in the hands of the user, but the photo themselves are not.

Faecebook’s constantly changing…

They’re willing to change things so rapidly and so quickly that – without user feedback never accepting what users say or do, they’ll change a feature over night. Daily users of the social platform never know what to expect, what feature will be there in the morning or be gone the next. Photos and the uploading capabilties are one such casualty of a poorly managed platform.

The complaints are coming in from everywhere. .. Outraged users that woke up one day to a totally different Facebook that now constrains how they wish to share their lives. They’re limited my number of pictures, source of pictures, type of pictures and numerous other things.

In a world with such innovation why would any company especially one created by hopeless pimple faced 24 year olds who would struggle in any normal type of job wish to annoy 500 million users? Even in understanding that these users do not wish to continue to use his invention as originally planned, they’re clicking ads, joining groups and buying products. They’re contributing to the viability and the overall popularity of the service…
